The exams are finally OVER! What a relief, though it doesn't felt like a very stressful period for me. It's either I was too slack and I totally dunch bother OR I'm just immune to stress... Well, whatever. YEAH!
Now gotta worry about my students' exams... What the..
Then there's the election... My GRC is contested by SDA... Hmm.. All of a sudden, I realised that I'm of voting age already, and all along, I've been, like the rest of my peers I guess, apathetic about politics in Singapore. Come to think of it, it's quite interesting to follow the news about the elections.. NOW, I feel like a Singaporean. Haha.
For once, this summer holidays seem for real. I can't find temporary employment 'cause of the
****ing ICT. Damn disruptive. Anyway, it's not going to be a super slack vacation for me despite the lack of work. I have to study. I have signed up for this summer program on "Chinese Thought and Culture". Quite cool I thought. Get to study in Peking University for 2 solid weeks. And I only have to pay $545 for the entire trip... Excluding additional expenses of course. Den it will be a mad rush for assignments and projects I guess. Sigh. And it seems that my project presentation and classes take up 4 days out of my 2-week ICT... Wonder if I can ask for time-outs... Or maybe deferment? But deferment sucks. Cause I have to complete one ICT this workyear, no matter what. That's what the website says. Not sure how true it is. Hopefully they'll just let me stay out to study, and also time-out in the afternoons for my lessons. Ha. What a slack ICT.. Haha. Can't wait to see familiar faces in camp though.
Ok, time for my drama.. I think I'm becoming a tv-addict.. hai. Not a good sign. Gotta start going to the library to borrow some good novels. Oh ya, I can't wait for
Da Vinci Code.. What other movies are on my list?
