I'm pretty screwed this week.
So much work to complete.
(1) Journal assignment's gonna be due on Sat and I'm have no motivation to edit...
(2) Camp booklet due on Sunday and I still have no ideas on how to design it!
On top of those, I have my tuition lessons and 3 (!) gatherings on Thursday & Friday which I cannot not go cos I've decided to devote more time to my friends this hols..
Gosh, can't wait for this damn ICT to end. Argh!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, I just received this from MOE that I will be required to do a project during my 3 week attachment in Fengshan Primary... and guess what is the project that is assigned to me?
Developing Behaviour Management Package
Objective & Synopsis of Project
Traditionally behaviour management strategies included teacher-controlled environment, coercion and use of punitive measures. Pupil management has since evolved and now it looks into preventing, suppressing and redirecting misbehaviour. In view of that, the school has embarked on a school-wide approach to teach values and apply behaviour modification strategies to redirect misbehaviour.
The scholar will review the literature and support strategies proposed with theories from the readings from the internet and resource books available in the school. He would need to identify types of behaviour modification strategies to focus on, for example, anger management, and design a teaching and learning package comprising 8-10 lessons with teachers’ guide.
Expected Outcomes of the Project
Behaviour modification packages as well as checklists to chart students’ progress and reflection incorporated to document students’ learning and progress.
